A windy 3-hour ride from Chiang Mai will take you to Pai, a lush slice of heaven nestled in the mountains in northern Thailand. A joke among travellers is that once you get to Pai, you’ll get stuck in the ‘Pai Hole’ and won’t want to leave. It’s true. For us, five days turned into the best two months.
